Welcome to Newtown Child Care! Our center provides nurturing programs for children ages 6 weeks through kindergarten, fostering growth, learning, and development in a supportive environment.
- Infant and Toddler programs for ages 6 weeks - age 2
- Traditional classroom programs for age 2-1/2 through kindergarten prep*
- AM or PM half-day options available for Kindergarten prep*
- State Licensed
- Certified Teachers with appropriate screenings and clearances
- Secure, locked facility
- Complimentary access to Y Wellness 24/7 virtual wellness platform
- Financial Assistance available
Child Care Works (CCW) subsidy through the Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) is accepted
*Our kindergarten prep room is intended for children who may not be ready for traditional kindergarten but would benefit from a kindergarten-style experience

Program Highlights:
Infant and Toddler
Ages 6 weeks - 2 years: Our infant and toddler programs offer low child-to-adult ratios, individualized care, and a nurturing environment with cribs and changing tables.
Preschool programs
Ages 2 - Pre-K: Our preschool nurtures independence, social skills, and a love for learning through play, group activities, and hands-on experiences.
Kindergarten Prep + Kindergarten
Ages 5 + | Our Kindergarten Prep program offers full-day or half-day options for children with summer birthdays or those just missing the public kindergarten cutoff. With a small class size (max 10), children receive personalized support in a kindergarten-level curriculum. Half-day includes math/reading (AM) or science/social studies (PM), while full-day covers all subjects, outdoor play, and two snacks. Families provide lunch.
We offer convenient monthly rates for child care, providing quality education and care at an affordable cost for your family. Financial Assistance is available.
